Terms of Use
These are the terms for using allkittiesgotoheaven.org. They are short because the site is small: one page that tells the story of a cat rescue in Lake County, California, and one embedded form for giving to it.
What this site is
All Kitties Go To Heaven is a cat rescue effort in Lake County, California, and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. This website exists to describe that work and to let people support it. It is not a shop. There is nothing to buy, no account to open, and no subscription of any kind.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, the remedy is simple: close the page.
The nonprofit status, stated exactly
All Kitties Go To Heaven is a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, incorporated on July 1, 2025. The Internal Revenue Service recognizes it as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, by a ruling dated August 2025.
So a gift to the rescue is tax deductible to the extent the law allows. The IRS lists the organization in Publication 78, its own public list of organizations that are eligible to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions, and its exemption has not been revoked.
What this page will not do is give you tax advice. Whether a particular gift helps you on a particular return depends on your own circumstances, so ask your own tax adviser. You can also check the rescue’s status for yourself, without asking anyone here to prove it, using the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search at apps.irs.gov/app/eos.
Donations
Giving is handled by Zeffy, through a form embedded on the home page and also reachable as a full page on Zeffy’s own website. When you give, you are transacting with Zeffy and with the payment companies Zeffy uses. Zeffy’s own terms and privacy policy govern that part, and this site does not change them.
This website never handles or stores your card details. It has no payment code of its own and no plans for any.
Gifts fund the rescue’s work: the spaying and neutering, the vaccination, the medical aftercare, and the feeding of returned colonies described on the home page. Gifts are not conditional promises about any individual cat, and the rescue cannot guarantee any particular outcome for any particular animal.
If something has gone wrong with a gift, or you gave by mistake, or you want a refund, write to allkittiesgotoheaven@protonmail.com and say what happened. A person will read it. Refunds are processed through Zeffy, so the mechanics and the timing are theirs, not ours.
What is written here, and how far it goes
The story on the home page is drawn from what the rescue’s founder has stated about his own work over twenty years. There are no invented statistics, no borrowed stories, no testimonials, and no rescue counts on this site, and there will not be. Where a number appears, it is one he has stated.
That said, this is a small operation describing itself, not an audited report. The site is offered in good faith and in plain language, and it is not a guarantee of any result.
The artwork
Every image on this site is an illustration, and each one is labeled as artwork on the page. None of them is a photograph, and none of them shows a real cat in the rescue’s care. That labeling is deliberate, and it stays.
Using what is on the page
The words, the artwork, and the name All Kitties Go To Heaven belong to the rescue. You are welcome, and encouraged, to link to this page and to share it with anyone who might care. What you may not do is copy the site wholesale, use the name or the artwork to raise money, or present yourself as speaking for or collecting on behalf of the rescue. If you want to use something here for a good reason, ask. The answer will usually be yes.
Getting in touch about barn cats or helping out
The home page invites people with acreage to reach out about working cats, and invites anyone to write. Reaching out starts a conversation. It is not an agreement, and it does not commit the rescue to place an animal with you or to accept an offer of help. Every placement is judged on whether it is right for the cat.
Links and embedded services away from this site
This site links to Zeffy and embeds Zeffy’s donation form, and it loads a typeface from Google Fonts. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms. The rescue does not control what they do or how they change, and is not responsible for their content or their conduct.
What is not promised
The site is offered as it is. Reasonable care goes into keeping it accurate and available, but nobody can promise a website will never be down, never contain a mistake, and never be affected by something a third-party service does. If you find an error, please write and say so, and it will be fixed.
To the extent the law allows, the rescue and the people running it are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including fraud.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Anything that cannot be sorted out by writing to each other belongs in the state or federal courts serving Lake County, California.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the effective date at the top changes with them and the new version replaces this one on this page. The date on this page is the record.
Contact
Questions about anything on this page go to allkittiesgotoheaven@protonmail.com. It is the rescue’s own inbox, and a person reads it.
One note: this page sets out the terms for using this website. It is not legal advice.
